About the Power Panelists:

Anne Thomas Manes - Burton Group
Anne Thomas Manes is a Research Director at Burton Group, a research, consulting, and advisory firm. Anne leads research for the Application Platform Strategies service. Named one of NetworkWorld's "50 Most Powerful People in Networking," in 2002 and one of Enterprise Systems Journal's "Power 100 IT Leaders," in 2001, Anne is a renowned technologist in the Web services space. Anne participates in standards development at W3C and OASIS. She is a member of the editorial board of Web Services Journal. She is a frequent speaker at trade shows and author of numerous articles and the book, Web Services: A Manager's Guide, published by Addison Wesley. Prior to joining Burton Group, Anne was chief technology officer at Systinet, a Web services infrastructure company, and before that she pioneered Sun's Web services strategy. A 24-year industry veteran, Anne developed her expertise working at a number of the world's leading hardware and software companies.

Suresh Chandrasekaran - Denodo Technologies
Suresh Chandrasekaran leads the sales and marketing in North America and APAC for Denodo Technologies, the leader in Data Mashups software. Suresh brings strategy consulting and enterprise software product management, marketing and sales experience on a worldwide basis in several middleware and Web technology companies. Prior to Denodo, Suresh held executive positions at Vitria Technology, Epicentric (now Vignette), AltaVista, and Compaq, and was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton serving many different vertical industries. Suresh has an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Miko Matsumura - Software AG
Miko Matsumura is Vice President and Chief Strategist at Software AG, where he is responsible for the technology strategy. He holds 12 years of experience in Enterprise Software and Middleware technologies. Prior to his current role, Matsumura served as vice president of SOA product marketing at webMethods and vice president of worldwide marketing at Infravio. He emerged as an industry thought leader while at The Middleware Company, where he was a co-creator responsible for building the partner program for SOA Blueprints, the first complete vendor-neutral specification of a SOA. He holds an MBA from San Francisco State University and a Masters Degree in Neuroscience from Yale University.

Mark Kryzsko - US Dept. of Defense
Mark Krzysko serves as the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (ADUSD) for Business Transformation. In this senior leadership position, he is directing technical and transformational efforts to make timely, authoritative major weapons system acquisition information available to support oversight of Department's major defense acquisition programs. he is also a speaker at SYS-CON's upcoming 1st Annual GovIT Expo in Washington DC (October 6, 2009).
