DemandTec to Speak at SIIA OnDemand Conference November 18, 2008 in San Jose

SAN CARLOS, Calif., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DemandTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMAN), a leading provider of on-demand optimization solutions for retailers and consumer products manufacturers, today announced Dan Fishback, DemandTec's president and chief executive officer, will participate in a panel discussion with other leading industry CEOs at the 3rd annual Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) OnDemand Conference at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose. The panel discussion is titled Going Vertical: The Key to Mass-Market SaaS Adoption, and is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 2:45 - 3:30 PM.

"Much of the dialogue about software-as-a-service historically has been focused on horizontal applications that leverage a common business practice with economies of scale that are shared by both vendor and customer alike," said Fishback. "With our focus on delivering a science based, data intensive solution that quantifies consumer behavior for retailers and CP companies, DemandTec is one of a growing number of vertical-oriented SaaS companies and I look forward to contributing to this dialogue about how software will be delivered in the future."

Fishback will be joined on the panel by Adam Miller, chief executive officer of Cornerstone OnDemand, and Ray Tetlow, chairman and chief executive officer of Skyytek Worldwide. Dan Druker, senior vice president, marketing and business development of Intacct, will serve as the moderator for the event.

The SIIA OnDemand Conference is the industry's only comprehensive conference for enabling and delivering software-as-a-service. The complete SaaS ecosystem is invited to participate, including, platform vendors, systems integrators, venture capitalists, bankers, analysts, press and other influencers. More information on the conference is available at http://siia.net/ondemand/2008.
