HiT Software to Deliver Change Data Capture
From Corporate Databases to Netezza Data Warehouse Appliance

HiT Software has announced a new partnership with Netezza, a leading data warehouse appliance provider, where HiT will develop and certify new functionality in its DBM data replication product to provide heterogeneous change data capture from source databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and IBM DB2 to Netezza® appliances. This capability will give Netezza data warehouse users assurance that they can quickly, easily and affordably populate their Netezza systems with corporate data from nearly any source, and maintain ongoing updates to Netezza through change data capture, which significantly reduces effort, stress and time on the source database systems.

“Organizations depend heavily on the velocity of analysis and reporting, and a primary reason for reporting backlog has been access to various data located among corporate departments and operational facilities,” said Giacomo Lorenzin, CEO, HiT Software, Inc. “Data warehouse appliances are becoming increasingly popular and we are very pleased to deliver a tailored change data capture solution for Netezza users, giving them an independent choice of data integration provider as they move data from corporate databases into Netezza’s market-leading data warehouse appliance.”

“Netezza is pleased to collaborate with HiT Software as a technology partner. With its impressive suite of flexible data integration tools, HiT Software provides a natural fit for organizations looking to derive insight through innovation,” said Matt Rollender, Director of Technology Partnerships and Strategic Alliances at Netezza. “We are particularly pleased with HiT Software’s work to date to integrate and certify our respective products and look forward to further developing this relationship.”

HiT Software’s DBMoto data replication product today supports all major relational databases for change data capture, enabling real-time data access for business users, analysts, operational staff and statisticians. DBMoto is recognized for its maturity, reliability, flexibility and affordability. Completely wizard-driven, DBMoto is easy to configure and quick to deploy without consulting.

DBMoto is in use today at thousands of small to large organizations. DBMoto can be downloaded for free evaluation at www.hitsw.com.
